Canva Templates

Canva Templates
A very large library of design templates; many templates need the Pro plan.
A library of Canva design templates for social media posts, banners, slides and documents; edit text, images and colors right in the browser.
Overview
Canva Templates is a library of ready-made designs for many kinds of materials: social media posts, posters, banners, presentations, documents, websites and many other formats. You can find templates from the homepage, by design type, or right inside the editor.
Each template opens as a complete design in which every element is editable: text, images, colors, fonts and layout. Free plan users get a free template library; the Pro plan unlocks more templates and premium content, plus features such as Brand Kit and background removal.
For small businesses without a dedicated designer, Canva helps staff quickly make brand-consistent materials themselves. Canva also lets you describe what you want in words to create new template options with AI.

Real-world example
A family bakery needs to post promotions every week but doesn't hire a designer. The owner finds a free set of social media post templates in Canva, swaps in her own photos of the cakes, changes the colors to match the logo and edits the content in Vietnamese. After a few weeks, the bakery has a consistent set of designs that the sales staff can update themselves too.
Tips & notes
Avoid surprise watermarks
If you use the Free plan, watch for the crown icon on templates, images and elements before choosing.
Don't keep the template as is
Change images, colors and layout so the design has its own identity and doesn't match other businesses using the same template.
Check Vietnamese fonts
Some fonts in templates render Vietnamese diacritics poorly; switch to a font that supports Vietnamese well.
Read the terms if reselling designs
Pro content has its own rules when used in products you sell; see Canva's license policy.
