Vultr

Vultr
Many server locations, hourly billing.
A cloud provider with many global locations, including Singapore; quickly create a VPS to run a website, Docker, n8n or a GPU machine.
Overview
Vultr is a cloud infrastructure provider renting virtual servers (Cloud Compute), bare-metal servers and GPU machines, with a simple server-creation interface similar to DigitalOcean. You choose a location, operating system and configuration, and immediately get a server to install applications on.
Vultr has had a data center in Singapore since 2016, along with many other locations in Asia and around the world. This is useful when Vietnamese businesses need servers close to users or want machines in several regions.
Vultr bills by the hour, which suits quickly spinning up a test machine and deleting it. As with any VPS, you are responsible for updating, securing and backing up the server.

Real-world example
An edtech startup in Can Tho needs a server to run a Telegram bot that reminds students of class schedules and a small API that returns test results. The dev team creates a Vultr machine in Singapore and installs Docker to run the bot, the API and n8n on the same machine. When they want to try an AI grading model, they rent an additional GPU machine for a few hours to test, then delete it.
Tips & notes
Delete machines to stop costs
Billing is hourly, so delete test machines as soon as you no longer use them instead of leaving them.
Be careful with GPU machines
GPU machines cost much more than regular VPS; set a reminder so you do not forget to delete them.
Harden SSH
Use SSH keys, disable root password login and enable the firewall right after creating the machine.
Check prices by location
Prices and available plans can differ between locations; check the official pricing page before choosing.
